Paying homage to the sacred bass rig embodied by Al Cisneros in the early days of OM, GIZA is a JFET emulation of a modified Green Matamp GT120 preamp combined with the hypnotic pairing of DOD 250 Overdrive and Boss DS1 Distortion. Featuring 36V of headroom for authentic tubelike overdrive and response, the signal is fed into both the DOD 250 and DS1 with a clean blend around both effects. The summer signal from the clean blend, DOD 250, and DS1 is sent into the Green Preamp.
