Why to Breathe Less than Normal in Yoga: Advanced Prânâyâma by Simon Borg Olivier
This video is part of a series of courses taught by physiotherapists and Directors of Yoga Synergy, Simon BorgOlivier and Bianca Machliss, both live (taught throughout the world) as well as part of an online courses at Yoga Synergy and and at RMIT University In this video Simon BorgOlivier explains why you should breathe less than normal in yoga and exercise. Although many breathcontrol exercises (prânâyâmas) ar I think that most people in the modern world should first practice diaphragmatic inhalation and passive exhalation. Then learn thoracic inhalation with the abdomen relaxed. Then learn complete breathing (abdomen then chest). Here I use a more advanced method of complete breath into the back of the body.
