Exploring a NORTH POLE Nazi Army base

, metaldetecting, worldwar2, ww2history We went back way to the North Pole to search with our metal detector for WW2 relics. Jan took us to one of his permission hidden deep in the Woods high up in Northern Norway. German forces manned a large base here during World War II and basically left behind everything they build up when the war ended. We tried metal detecting for relics but because the detectors didn t bleep much, Jan took us to a spot where the German burned their trash during the war years. Although bottle digging wasn t the plan, some interesting things came out, even a few wishlist items. Unfortunately not Hitler s lost Nazi gold, that is still on the list. .
