Journey of Jonathan Harker Part 5: After biting and infecting Mina, Dracula narrowly escapes from his first battle with Harker, Van Helsing and the others at Carfax. An enraged Jonathan, frustrated over losing their one chance at ending the nightmare and saving Mina before she is fully transformed by the vampire bite, refuses to be calm. It is Mina s blood connection with Dracula that provides the group with the clue they need to discover the location of the Count s retreat.
