Waney edge bench build, using a slab of oak very far from flat and I wanted to keep it that way, but this leaves for joinery issues cause theres no straight 90 edges to work from to get the legs straight heres how I do this using the Sam Maloof joint. Makes for a nice conversation piece with bundles of character. I also used oak for the legs, some ropey oak right at the pith of the log which made for some lovely splits which I used epoxy (glass cast 50) to fill with antique bronze metallic flake for som
