Hooded Vulture, Necrosyrtes monachus, Léona, Senegal, 26 Febr 2020 (4, 5)

Unfortunately, this characterful vulture is now also critically endangered, with a decrease in numbers of up to 77 in three generations (of vultures, not humans). Pied Crow (Corvus albus) here is its usual West Africa sidekick, as in video 4, 5. (In videos 1, 4 it is Somali Crow, Corvus edithae, and in 2, 4 and 3, 4, it is Ethiopian endemic Thickbilled Raven, Corvus crassirostris).
