How to scrape rocks with a plastic card, Misty Watercolour Seascape simple loose watercolor tutorial
In this video I show you how I use a plastic store card to etch or scrape out rocks, stones etc in the misty watercolour seascape. Materials: Saunders Waterford cold pressed NOT paper, 11 x 15, 28cm x 38cm, paynes grey, sepia, raw and burnt sienna, indigo. I used various brushes including hakes, flats, riggers, calligraphy brushes, and a plastic store card for etching. My paper isn t prestretched, I simply tape it to my board with masking tape, it will buckle a bit as I paint but will dry flat. My board is at an angle of about 4560 degrees. Thanks for watching
