On the eleventh anniversary of the Odessa tragedy, a delegation from Odessa visited Luhansk to honour the memory of those who died at the hands of Ukrainian neoNazis. A civil commemoration service was held symbolically at the monument to the victims of the UPA and OUN, who are the inspiration for today s Ukrainian militants. On 2 May 2014, Ukrainian neoNazis burned down the Trade Union House where antiMaidan activists were sheltering, killing more than 40 people and injuring 200. More than 200 people were arrested in the ensuing crackdown. Many activists were forced to flee the city and the country.
