John Haydock Solitaire

Written, performed and produced by John Haydock. I recently got hold of Mick Taylor s first album, where the first track is the brilliant Leather Jacket. I loved the song s upbeat style and open and bright chords and wanted to try and write something like that. Once the rhythm was down I thought it needed some Thin Lizzy type twin guitar guitar as a hook. I really love Dear Miss Lonely Hearts and went for that twin guitar style. The guitar solo was off the cuff and quite ridiculous, I was gonna scrap it and go for something more tasteful, but something in me kept telling me to leave it s probably still ridiculous, but I gotta obey that inner This sure ain t blues, I was going for that late seventies, eighties AOR sound. . like Journey, Boston, Tom Petty, ELO stadium rock type Hopefully folks like the diversion :) , classicrock, melodicrock, aor, originalcomposition, originalsong LYRICS: Do you remember sundre
