San Diego: Overdose Death 09272019

INCIDENT DATE, TIME: 92719 10:07 am LOCATION: 9575 Genesee Ave CITY: San Diego DETAILS: Police and Fire responded to a heroin, fentanyl overdose call of two people. When the first responders arrived, they found one middleaged male dead. The (middleaged) female was taken to a local hospital after she started to overdose. The SDPD called in the Narcotics Task Force and the SDFD HazMat Team to come to the scene, due to over 5 lbs of Fentanyl being found in the apartment. Update: Information is coming out that the deceased male was a Chemistry Professor at Cuyamaca College in 2016. The female will be facing felony charges on the Selling and Distribution of Narcotics.
