Harold Easter: Collapses, seizes in Charlotte police interview room

Harold Easter was left alone in a CharlotteMecklenburg Police Department interview room on January 23 when he collapses and suffers a seizure, surveillance video released on October 1 show publicly for the first time. Easter, who had been arrested and taken into custody for suspected drug possession, can be seen calling out for help before collapsing. An internal investigation determined the four CMPD officers and one police sergeant involved in Easter s arrest knew that Easter had ingested cocaine. The internal investigation determined medical personnel should have been notified to tend to Easter.
