Spectacular aviation scenes from 1918 (speed corrected)
A few spectacular aerial victory scenes and aviation scenes from 1918 Victory of Raymond Vanier on 19 July 1918 near Cuperly, France, German crew wounded but lived. This was a crew of Schusta, Schlasta 10, Gefreiter Döll and Unteroffizier Liebnitz. Döll, the pilot, is the man with the bandages at the head, Liebnitz, the observer, gunner, seems to be in shock, sitting next to the plane as well. Montfaucon 3 October 1918, a German plane shoots down an observation plane and the observer saves himself with a parachute. The plane is shot down as well, the pilot was Unteroffizier Hans Heinrick Marwede according to the titles, actually Hans Heinrich Marwede from Jasta 67 who crashed north east of Montfaucon in the Argonne. There are some images of Marwede sitting down next to the crash site.
