Crazy Flexible 3 D Printed T shirt Design
If you think I missed a lot of details in this video, it s beacuse I already covered it in this one: I got the NinjaFlex filament (lava color) from 3DEksperten: 15 coupon code: RCLifeON I start off in Adobe Illustrator and export a random image as a SVG file. The file is later imported to a CAD software (Fusion 360), we are now able to extrude our object in the photo. The extrusion basically means we just gave the object depth, and is now possible to be 3D printed. I exported the extruded object to my slicer (Simplify3D) in order to prepare it to be printed. A tshirt is placed on the bed of the 3D printer and by adjusting the settings for the printer it is able to print a flexible plastic, also called filament, onto the tshirt. The flexible filament survived the washing machine, something PLA did not This is great news because it means I can basically print any picture or any object onto a tshirt and it will last for quite a while.
