BO 105 Demonstration Flight ( Pilot: Charly Zimmermann)

The official Eurocopter demonstration video from the early 1980s. Karl Charly Zimmermann (1978 1981 world champion in Helicopter Aerobatics) demonstrates the low level flight capabilities of the Bo105. The Bo 105A made its maiden flight on the 16th February 1967. In the mid 1970s until late 90s the Bo105 has been well known as antitankhelicopter. Being the first light twinengined helicopter in commercial service, it gained widespread use also over rural areas (police and EMS, medevac) as well as offshore.
