We had the honor to be there when the team mechanic assembled a brand new Cervelo R5 for the sympathy Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard. Jonas Vingegaard used the R5 in many stages in the 2022 Tour de France and was, of course, the 1st choice in all mountain stages. The R5 impresses with light weight and high comfort and also the lightweight frame benefits from many aerodynamic features of the S5. After a second place at the Tour de France in 2021, 25yearold Jonas Vingegaard won the 2022 Tour de France after thrilling duels with Tadej Pogacar.
