Literary Chatter: The Horses Mouth

The last book in Joyce Cary s trilogy of Herself Surprised, To Be a Pilgrim, and this book, The Horse s Mouth. This is about Gulley Jimson, the artist Sara ran away with in Herself Surprised. He s awful and an unreliable narrator and I dislike him intensely. This book was copyrighted in 1944, I m not sure when this edition was published, I can t seem to find a date for it, and the publisher is Grosset Dunlap. The cover art appears to have been done by the same B. Krigstein as the other two in the Universal Library series of publications.
