Cuts (rushes, out takes) for story in Colour Pictorial CP 682. The original story is on Pathe Master tape PM0433, reel 1 of the cuts is on PM0439. Cuts for story HONG KONG in CP 682. Several shots show a local man carving a horse from jade; other pieces made in the stone are seen around him in a shop. A small Buddha made of Amber is also seen. Another man carves a very intricate threedimensional design from wood to make panels for a screen. More footage of the young people having a barbecue at West Bay at night. Several high angle shots in an ornate nightclub or ballroom show girls in a fashion show or beauty contest sashaying out onto a stage before people sitting at tables; some of the girls dance; a compere in cream dinner jacket and dark glasses introduces the girls.
