How to examine a sled dog

This video was originally designed to show veterinary students how to perform an abbreviated physical exam on a sled dog. This video was offthecuff and spontaneous, and I missed mentioning a few but it ll give you a general idea. PS. One doesn t actually look for harness rubs on the hind end. :) Also, I will often add in more of a thorough assessment for shoulder, back or neck pain, depending on the clinical signs.
