Il film che lancia la carriera di Luc Besson è una fuga indiavolata nei tunnel della metropolitana di Parigi dove il postpunk si scrolla di dosso ogni istanza politica e contestataria per farsi testimone di una nuova, giocosa opposizione al sistema dallo stile visuale sgargiante, glamour e patinato. Per alcuni è lÀ bout de souffle degli anni 80.
