One of most haunting song. Originally an early demo track taken from the Mezzanine sessions but never properly finished, Silent Spring was finally dusted off the shelf due to Massive Attack s fondness for it, and given a new mix to improve it sonically for inclusion on Collected, Massive Attack s Best Of album. The song as it is on Collected, remains not completely finished and might be worked upon further for inclusion of a final definite version of the song at some future date. Elizabeth F
