In the foreground numerous rowing boats are seen approaching the Royal Naval vessels. High angle shot looking down on the gun turrets, visible are numerous crew members on the deck. L, S s of a crewman in a clown costume who is riding a pantomime horse along the quayside to the Repulse, he is followed by man dressed as a cockerel, and a crew member who holds aloft a large shiny statue of a cockerel. They are all followed by a procession of crew members. L, S of the procession walking up the ramp of the Repulse.
