A man Henry Grimes is working in an aircraft factory. As he works he smokes a cigarette, when he finishes he throws the butt out of the window. The smouldering butt gets blown along the ground and into a warehouse storing plywood for aeroplane wings. The butt starts a fire in the warehouse. Fire brigade tackles blaze, Henry smokes another cigarette as he watches. CU man stamping out smouldering cigarette butt with his shoe. Commentary is in rhyming couplets.
