Bi plane pilot recreating Amy Johnsons flight reaches Asia BBC News

Biplane pilot Tracey CurtisTaylor is attempting to become only the second woman to fly singlehandedly from the UK to Australia something not achieved since Amy Johnson s famous flight of 1930. She is flying an aircraft with an open cockpit and only using instruments that were available at the time, and hopes to arrive in Australia in early January.
