Watching historic steam shovels in action, a childhood dream

Living out a childhood dream of watching vintage steam shovels in action. We see Bucyrus Erie model 50B, Marion and Osgood shovels at work. As a 3rd generation operator with more than 25 years of experience I can really appreciate the amount of work and maintenance it takes to operate these machines. This has been a dream experience for me since my childhood. Something that has been on my list since reading Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel, Mary Anne by Virginia Lee Burton, as a child. I would love to voulenteer here at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion next year. This is a fantastic show with endless attractions.
