ROCKY BEGINS SHOOTING NOV 1975

With me as camera man and my trusty New York nonunion crew we began shooting the exteriors for Rocky in Philadelphia in November 1975. The producers wanted the whole movie shot in Los Angeles. I convencied them that Philliy was a big character in the movie. We couldn t fool the audience into thinking that LA was Philly.
