Community Partnership Building to meet outcomes of Progressive Realization of the Right to Housing
Speaker: Cheryll Case, is the Founder and Executive Director of CP Planning, a Torontobased nonprofit organization defining the practice of a human rightsbased approach to urban planning. This includes the codesign and implementation of neighbourhood, city, and nationwide planning strategies that have aligned for public, nonprofit, and private sector organizations to invest millions of dollars into communityled solutions that uphold the economic, social, and cultural rights of marginalized people to have access to good housing, good jobs, and an adequate standard of living. Her impact is recognized in her honour as the University of Torontos inaugural Early Career Canadian Urban Leader in 2022, in addition to recognitions from the Azure Magazine, Spacing Magazine, and the Jamaican Canadian Association.
