The City Mouse and the Country Mouse
Teachers note The moral of the story is that sometimes, the grass may seem greener on the other side, but it s important to appreciate and be content with what we have. The city mouse was initially enticed by the city life and all its luxuries, but soon realized that it came with its own set of dangers and disadvantages. The country mouse, on the other hand, appreciated the simplicity and comfort of her own home and realized that the city life wasn t as wonderful as it seemed. It serves as a reminder to not be easily swayed by appearances and to value what we have in our own lives.
