Street Mirage

Just shot this today. Still digesting it to see if there are any takeaways as to whether or not inferior mirage can contribute to why an object would seem to disappear from the bottomup on a flat surface. This is obviously not a flat surface. The road curves downward into a decline. I think that is intuitively obvious even with the presence of mirage conditions. Why is that (Sorry about the yipping dog. He didn t like me setting up so near to his turf, I guess. )
