Oils The Brook

The Brook is the third and final instalment of the Noodles EP. The EP itself came about primarily through a collaboration with artist Jake Machen. In March 2020 during the first lockdown Jake and I decided to create a project where one of us would create either a drawing or a track and the other would interpret it in their own way. To start this collaboration, Machen created a first sketch of artwork and that basically inspired the upcoming EP. The demo to what would become tracks Noodles and Party Elsewhere were made on the same day as Machen sent the artwork. The Brook was written very quickly within two days in early January this year and instantly felt at home along the other two tracks.
