Storyline, FBI Special Agent Terry McCaleb sees the alleged code murderer among the crowd as he steps outside to speak to the media during a federal inquiry into a local crime. He pursues the man and injures him, but McCaleb has a heart attack, and the pursuit comes to a stop. McCaleb, who is retired now after two years, resides on a houseboat on the bay in Long Beach. A heart transplant gives him a second shot at life. Graciella Rivers approaches him; she wants his help in solving the murder of her sister Gloria during a heist. He learns that Gloria s heart was the one that was transplanted into him.
