Large Texas Cichlid

I ve had this bad boy for possibly 6 years. He is very large for a Texas Cichlid but is a hybrid version of the original kind. He has become quite mellow in his old age and can be housed with almost anything. He is a very beautiful fish in person and stands out as the king of the tank he is in. Common, Trade name: Texas cichlid or Pearlscale cichlid Max. size: 30 cm, 12 inches pH range: 6. 5 8. 0 dH range: 825 Temperature range: 7282 F Aggression : medium aggression for a cichlid. I find it to be a good community cichlid provided the tank is a reasonable size for an adult fish.
