It is located on the northwestern tip of the Sinop Peninsula extending to the Black Sea. The promontory consists of solidified lava and agglomerates. During the Upper Cretaceous (Chalk) Period (Cretaceous Period, y. 13665 million years ago), lavas occupy a larger area on the volcanic surface than agglomerates. The lavas consist of columnar and very cracked basalts. We can t wait to scan new locations and make them available.
