Pottery Corset Tankard (hand built tutorial using Sharon Hoppe Designs Montana Leather)

I received my order from Sharon Hoppe Designs, and Sharon tossed in a few goodies for me to play with. I dived right in and decided to take you with me. I love figuring out how to get the most out of my pottery tools and textures. So, while I knew that this Montana Leather Design was meant for an adorable tray, I wanted to see what else I could make with the forgetmenot floral tiny timber. As mugs are potters bread and butter, that s where I started. I ended up with a very sassy, corsetstyle, feminine tankard that I m going to have a hard time giving up.
