A Womb to Let, 腹貸し女 (1968) dir. Koji Wakamatsu
Examines the relationships of a wealthy middleaged man and his young wife and that of the mans daughter, who is the same age as his spouse, and her student boyfriend. Whereas the young wife is obviously motivated by a desire for a comfortable life and betrays her husband by having an affair with her gynecologist, the daughter is genuinely in love with her boyfriend. However, Wakamatsu doesnt paint the picture as black and white as it first appears. The daughter is tormented by her fathers primarily sexual relationship with his new wife, but the daughters own boyfriend wants her to participate in a freelove orgy he and his hippie friends have organized.
