THE WORLDS QUICKEST VW TYPE 3 NOTCHBACK 720 HP 3078cc

Johan Fahlgren from Sweden was at the SCC Event in Norway in his AirCooled VW Type 3 Notchback. With a 3078cc engine, lots of custom work and a turbo, it pushes out 720hp at 2. 1bar, via its 4 speed sequential box. After a few runs where Johan could not quite get things working, I followed him to the track for another run. That is when completely unexpected, he put in a run of 8. 46 165mph, making hime the quickest VW Type 3 in the World.
