A woman lives in Acapulco with moochers and a husband who married her for her money. Wealthy Kit Jordan (Lana Turner) and her dissolute husband, Pete (Cliff Robertson), are in Acapulco, Mexico, when a corpse washes onto the beach. The deceased was a lover of Kit s and a friend of Pete s, so the police question the Jordans. Then the dead man s girlfriend (Stefanie Powers) arrives, and she and Pete have an affair. Luckily, Kit has her choice of men to distract her. There is gigolo Hank (Hugh O Brian), bullfighter Julian (Carlos Montalban) and, when in a pinch, even her husband.
