Welcome to another video Last month during a visit to Canada, I decided to try out the country s national passenger railroad, Via Rail Canada. I ve traveled countless times with Amtrak in the United States, but have never taken Via Rail, until now. Since It s my first Via Rail experience, I wanted to do something a bit different that would give me an opportunity to really see how this railroad operates. So, I purchased a Business Class ticket from Toronto to Montréal with a layover in Canada s Capital, Ottawa, Ontario. The usual 5 hour trip will instead take over 8 hours due to the layover. Business Class has has additional amenities such as lounge access, included beverages and a meal, and a more comfortable seating arrangement.
