Manfred Mann Big Betty (1968)

Manfred Mann s adaptation of Black Betty, the American folk standard adapted by Leadbelly and best known by Ram Jam s 1977 hit version. Mann later performed Black Betty with Manfred Mann s Earth Band in 1972 before mutating it into the song Look Around. This version was recorded for the 1968 album Mighty Garvey.
