Yaesu FT 1000 D No, Low Receive on Main RX FIXED
Here is a quick video clip showing the initial test of the Yaesu FT1000D after replacing the LPF Unit. This radio came to me as a Tech Special. The radio had NO, Low receive on the Main RX on any band. After researching online, I found a YouTube repair video posted by: W2AEW. His radio had a similar issue which led him to troubleshooting a failing reed relay on the LPF Unit. The LPF unit on the radio Im repair sustained substantial damage. Quite possibly do to severe weather. I replaced the RL7204 reed relay, (4)Schottky diodes D7201D7204 (1ss101 no longer available) with cross reference 1N5711s. Taken from internet: Four (4) diodes, type 1SS101, 70 Volt, 15 mA highspeed Schottky diode. NEC was the original Yaesu OEM during 1990s (they discontinued), NTE583 listed as substitute. Still no receiver rest
