The perfect thing to usher in a Friday evening, this album picks its way through tremulously chorussaturated notes in its sparsely eerie intro until it is consumed by the eruption of nihilistic despondency, bursting over it like an oily cloud of grim anguish, reappearing at malefic intervals, with dour thunder.
