I misread the signs posted for the restrictions on use of ANY photography or video The UPTOWN Theatre in downtown Napa had signs that read that usage of STILL PHOTOGRAPHY ONLY was allowed during the opening number ONLY, and at NO time during the entire performance was video to be shot. I thought I d read it as video could be shot for some reason, so I flipped out my camcorder and had it held closely to my chest so not to bug anyone on the side or behind me, but one of the MANY roving ushers came over and stood directly in front of me blackening the screen and said to me, Sir you must put that camera away right More surprised that he d referred to me as Sir than that I was being asked to put the camera away, I simply shut it off Even though what I ve captured is uneven, I like it because it was one of the more quite moments where we can see that Hugh truly loves his playing and how damn good he is. br, br,
