Railway line runs close to front. Behind the railway are houses and hotels. A steam train runs along the line. Pan along sea front. In the foreground are docks, on the hill is a Church. Pan continues to show more buildings. (The voice over suggests comparisons with Cannes or Nice. ) How s this for climate asks the voice over. We see people walking amongst the Torquay palm trees. Group of young men and women in bathing costume on rocky beach. They walk rather gingerly into the approaching waves of the sea. Once immersed they start swimming. High angle shot of family group on sandy beach. They are all dressed up in hats and coats. The little boy is making sand castles. (Section of black) Pan across Alpine snowscape. The town is described as a winter sports centre in Switzerland. People playing cu
