Brothers Brandon and Louis Borrego met bassist Jacob Moore and drummer Dante Muñoz in March 2022 shortly after Austins first SXSW festival in a postpandemic world. When the four felt immediate and undeniable chemistry in their first session together, they officially formed the band The Melos, which previously had been the moniker for Brandons songwriting and recording efforts. Each member brings different influences and musical experience to the creative process. Brandons deeply personal and metaphorical songwriting honors that of workingclass rockers like Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Money while still maintaining a modern pop sensibility.
