DONT WAIT is a collaboration between awardwinning director, choreographer Lanre Malaolu, and actor RegéJean Page (performing as half of musical duo TUNYA). Conceived in the midst of the long, hard summer of 2020; Lanres visceral choreography meets RegéJeans swooning love song, and remixes it into an explosively physical, intensely personal journey an intimate missive straight from the broken hearts of young black men battling through desolation, rage, confusion and ultimately bruising vulnerability. Dont Wait confronts how we learn to cope with, and grow beyond, the imperfect legacy and enormous grief the world inevitably throws at us all.
