I will be mounting this to DJI RoninM and more video later. It worked off the box but I do notice some stepping noise when pulling focus on the lens but not serious. There is no update firmware on the Aputure even though the one page manual did have a broken link to the firmware. I do suggest to check which lenses are compatible with your camera on the www
