Flóra Fábri Pianoforte Martin Jantzen Arpeggione How to play Schubert s Sonata on an original Arpeggione The fortepiano was built in 1992 by Monika May in Marburg. It is a copy after an original Viennese instrument made by Anton Walter in 1785 that is part of the instrument collection Monika May, Gerald Woehl Marburg. The Arpeggione is an original instrument from 1847 made by Georg Tiefenbruner in Munich. Compared to other surviving instruments it has a rather small corpus, more likely a guitar than a cello, although it is a melt down of these two. The bow is a violin bow made by Thomas M.
