Live worm found in Australian womans brain BBC News
An 8cm (3in) worm has been found alive in the brain of an Australian woman. In a world first, the creature was pulled from the womans damaged frontal lobe during surgery, after she had been suffering an unusual constellation of symptoms including stomach pain, a cough and night sweats, evolving into increasing forgetfulness and depression. Doctors said the parasite could have been there for up to two months. Please subscribe here: , Parasite, Australia, BBCNews
