UK THE NURSE WHO ASKS
Remember a time when people would say dont believe everything you see on the TV, read in the papers Where has that thought process been over the last 2 years Having seen police attack peaceful protesters to simply get the photos for the msm I am still in shock. Then the story makes the headlines and people victim blame shaming those who then attempt to defend themselves while giving the police a pat on the back for what a difficult job they have. This has made me realise that a snapshot is just that 1 second in history with no context which can be manipulated to sway an unquestioning public. I always believed the police were there to protect us having witnessed several events to the contrary I now know not all police are made equal. If me and one of these officers met in a cafe we would likely be able sit down and discuss our views.
