Bushcraft project: bush pipe

Today I craft a bush pipe made from birch wood and a type of tall Reed Grass using only basic tools (carving knife, saw and a drill bit). Note: Im using dead materials, for small projects like these, its not worth cutting down anything live. The reed grass Im using are dry old chutes from the previous year (even so I didnt remove the roots) and the birch tree was already on the ground when I found it, blown over from a storm. Im not a smoker, for me bush pipes are more meant for medicine, sometimes the quickest way to absorb the medicine from a plant is to inhale the smoke that said plant produces, so bush pipes are perfect for this use. (For example smoking mullein leaves, flowers helps alleviate stuffy lungs)
