I wrote this song in August this past summer on a solo backpacking trip. It mentions Eagles Nest Wilderness near Silverthorne, Colorado and White River National Forest near Vail, Colorado (where I wrote the song). The song is inspired by a warm campfire and my favorite beer and themes include surrender and finding contentment in little things.
